This weekend was one of those weekends that was a lot of running around but also so much fun. Friday started in Jersey City, Saturday was LBI, and Sunday was Bayonne for my cousins’s graduation party.
Friday was girls night in Jersey City. We went to our favorite restaurant, Cellar 335. If any of you live in the area, you NEED to check this restaurant out. The drinks are great but the food is just beyond amazing. If I know that Lauren and I are going to be going to Cellar 335 for dinner, all I think about until we get there is the edamame. It is hands down the best edamame I have ever eat.
Saturday Lauren and I headed to LBI to meet up with some of my friends there. We met everyone at Hop Sauce Festival in Beach Haven, NJ. It was the perfect day to sample a bunch of different hot sauces and try all kinds of beer. We were given a little 5 oz beer mug and we walked around to the different tents sampling beer; there was your standard beers and they had the local beers. The local beers were my favorite; I’ve been wanting to try Ship Bottom Brewery for a while and I finally got to yesterday! In the center of everything (the beer was around the outside) were all different hot sauce tents and let me tell you, there were definitely sauces that had my eyes tearing! My friends all bought a variety!
The festival ended at 7 pm so we decided to grab dinner at the bar near my house. Afterwards we walked towards the bay to catch the gorgeous sunsets. That is one of my favorite things about having a beach house, the beautiful sunsets every night!
Sunday morning was spent relaxing on the beach for a few short hours before heading back home for my cousin’s graduation party. I told you guys, a lot of running around this weekend! But it was all worth it.
I hope you guys had a great weekend as well! Only two more Mondays to wake up and school will be finished! 🙂
Have a great week!
