If you live in the NYC area and need something to do for a couple of hours to beat the heat, you need to check out THE PINT SHOP on W 14th Street. You can take some fun pictures and eat ice cream. Who doesn’t like to eat ice cream?!
When you first enter THE PINT SHOP you get to select an ice cream to sample! I mean, what a way to enter a place! There are three large pints that have different themes. The above has a swing in it representing on of the ice creams (I forgot which one!), the one below is obviously the banana flavor, and then there is the cherry flavor.
On top of the massive pints in the pop up shop, there are several freezers of the different flavors of ice cream that you can buy. Lauren and I didn’t buy any because we had lunch plans afterwards and didn’t want to scarf down an entire pint of ice cream before lunch. There were also different colored aisles filled with a variety of items of that color. I chose the pink aisle for a photo op and Lauren chose the yellow.
It’s hard to believe that I am wearing a leather jacket in these pictures when the temperatures have been scorching in these past few days! Lauren and I came to THE PINT SHOP the day before I left for Italy and the weather was on the cooler side. It was definitely something fun to do for a few hours and then move on to the next thing. This is one of the things that I love about living so close to the city; there is always something fun and unique to do for a little bit.
I hope you are all surviving the heat and had a great 4th of July!
Thanks for stopping by!
