I cannot believe that my vacation is over and it is back to reality. I absolutely love this romper that I wore to the Bacardi Distillery and walking around San Juan.
On Wednesday we started off our morning with a trip to the Bacardi Distillery where we had a private tour and then a mixology class after the tour. We were able to see one of the warehouses which was an impressive sight to see. There was rum barrels from the floor to the ceiling and as far as the eye could see.
After touring the grounds, we went to the Visitors Center where we learned how to make three signature cocktails. The set-up was unbelievable; there was everything you needed to make a cocktail. We made a Cuba Libre (which is just a Bacardi and Coke with a lime), a mojito, and a daiquiri. After that, we walked around the store where Lauren and I bought a bottle of Bacardi that we personalized. We were able to pour the rum into the bottle, seal the bottle, and put the wax seal on it.
Then off to San Juan we went!
I fell in love with San Juan! The city felt so old, the colors of the buildings were beautiful. We went and saw the bigger of the two forts, San Cristobal. This fort was UNREAL. I’m a huge history nerd and I loved walking around the grounds where there is so much history. The views were beautiful despite the cloudy day.
This romper from Lulus was so comfortable and perfect for walking around that day.
Hope everyone has a great week!
