A few years ago I was wearing blazers non-stop and then for some reason or another I stopped wearing them. It is time to break them out of the closet once again!
Boy has it been a week and we are only halfway through! Monday and Tuesday were doozies at school – is a new moon coming?! Because, I swear, it effects the kids! Not to mention, it has been difficult to get my workouts in so far this week. I finally pulled myself out of bed this morning to do a pilates workout at home and I feel so much better. Anyone else feel off when they cannot get a workout in? The only saving grace these past two days was the beautiful weather that we have been having. Hence why I pulled this blazer from my closet.
I purchased this blazer in the later part of the fall when it was finally restocked again and did not get the chance to break it out! Now that the weather has been warmer and was kind of a tease the past few days, it had to makes it’s way out of my closet! It was perfect for the warm weather!
Before even pulling my blazer out of the closet, I have been eyeing the variety of blazers that are available now. It’s not secret that I have been gravitating more towards neutral colors recently but there are some really cute blazers in pastel colors, especially pink. I cannot believe I even have been eyeing pink blazers because you guys know that pink really isn’t my color. But every once in a while I do find something that I’m drawn too. The pink one in the widget below is from H&M and I am seriously considering adding it to my closet.
Blazers are one of the best ways to pull an outfit together, not to mention that they can double as a jacket during the in-between weather period. They are no longer just meant for the work place and can be styled so many different ways. Here I styled it with my favorite turtleneck underneath and my new favorite booties. Remember in this post when I said I was going to show how to wear them in another way? Well, here you go! 🙂
I have posted two different looks wearing a blazer on the blog already. In this post, I styled my blazer over a jumpsuit to wear to a bridal shower. It was the perfect piece of clothing to wear over my jumpsuit to give my outfit a classic, chic look. My second outfit was in this post where I paired my favorite black blazer with jeans and heels. This is a classic look that is great to wear to work on a casual Friday or to brunch with your girlfriends!
What is your favorite way to wear a blazer? Leave a comment below to let me know! 🙂
