Every year millions of people come to New York City to see the sites, visit the museums, sample restaurants, and see a Broadway show. Living so close to New York City, I am extremely fortunate to be able to do any of things when I want to go into the city; however, I do not take as much advantage of it as I should. I definitely plan on changing that now that the weather is warmer.
A few weeks ago I went into the city with my mom and sister to see The Lion King for my sister’s birthday. I had seen the play several years ago for my birthday and was still amazed by the entire production. The costumes are just out of this world and how the actors embody the animals they portray is just incredible. Not to mention the sets and how they change them or enhance the stage. Does anyone remembers the movie and the stampede scene? How they do it on stage is just incredible. It looks real!
If you are going into the city for a weekend or a lengthy stay, I highly recommend going to see The Lion King on Broadway. It’s just one of those shows that truly amazes you. You will never regret seeing a Broadway show!
How cool is the lion’s mask over the entry way? When you are coming up the escalators into the theater, you do not even realize it is there until you turn around.
We started of the day in Hoboken, NJ for brunch at Anthony David’s. The food was so good! How cute is this champagne bottle that my sister had won?!
These Nutella donuts were just amazing! I will definitely be going back for more!
Thanks for stopping by!
