I love getting dressed up but when it’s summer and hot, getting dressed up is the last thing I want to do. I love that this white dress is lightweight and can either dressed up or down.
How great is this mural?! My brother’s girlfriend pointed out this mural and it was a great spot to capture this outfit. I love that I can take this dress from day tonight.
If someone told me that I would be posting pictures of myself in a bathing suit on my blog, I would have told them they were crazy. But here I am, putting up pictures from my time in Raleigh visiting my brother, at the pool. In a bathing suit.
Today is World Elephant Day!! As many of you know and anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE elephants. It all started from my trip to Thailand four years ago.
This is from a couple of weeks ago at my uncle’s property in PA.
Both of my grandmothers have an amazing sense of style. When I look back at pictures of them when they were younger, they both were impeccably dressed and always looked fashionable. It’s no reason that when I dress, I always want to look put together and classy.
Today is the opening ceremony for the Olympics! I love watching the Olympics and see all the unbelievable athletes the world has, especially in diving and gymnastics because I could never do either!
Dresses are my go-to’s in the summer. I love breezy, lightweight dresses that are easy to transition from work to night.
Last summer, almost a year to date, my sister and I were in Trieste, Italia. It was such a quaint, adorable town. It was right on the water and picturesque. There was so much to see that we did not get to see all of it and it is one place that I will definitely be revisiting.
When I put this outfit together, I just thought it would be a breezy summer outfit. Then, when I went to shoot the look, it was in the high 90s and there was no way my hair was going to look good down; so up the hair went. The look immediately reminded me of the pictures you see of women from Spain and Mexico from ages ago; hair up in a bun, off the shoulder top, skirt, maybe not the shoes.
