Have I mentioned how hot it is here in Barcelona? I’m sure I have. But it did not stop us from exploring Montjuic on Saturday.
First stop was the art museum on Montjuic that was build to be a palace. The interior was stunning and some of the Catalonian artwork was incredible. I know I am in a foreign country, but it was difficult to understand the descriptions of the majority of the paintings because they were all in Spanish. I wish there was more English to help me understand the time periods I was looking at.
The last part of the day, before our disappointing flamenco show, Lauren and I checked out the stadium Barcelona built for the ’92 Summer Olympics. It was pretty cool to see the stadium and different areas where they held the competitions.
This dress was perfect for walking around in the heat all day. It was light and airy, which was much needed for exploring this hilly part of Barcelona. You may have remembered seeing this dress here and here when I went to Raleigh to visit my brother and his girlfriend.
Hope everyone is having a great day!
