Yesterday was Mutzfest at the Elks in Hoboken, one of the best events! I decided to forgo brunch this week because I knew how much I would be eating.
Mutzfest is the perfect way to spend a few hours of your afternoon if you love cheese (like I do!). The tickets go on sale about two and a half weeks before the event and they usually sell out. The money goes to charity and you get to spend a few hours sampling different mozzarellas and other amazing Italian food from different delis in Hoboken. What’s not to like about that?
I could only make it to three of the tables because I got so full way to quickly. The delis were Vitos, Frankie and Ava’s, Tony Boloney’s, Rosticeria da Gigi, M&P Biancamano, and Margherita’s. All completely worth it.
I highly recommend attending this event next year. You should keep an eye out for the signs! Tickets sell out quickly online but you can always go to one of the delis to get a ticket as well.
Did you guys do anything fun this weekend? Any good restaurants to try?
Thanks for stopping by!
